Bravoviewers are in for a blast from the past at the upcomingMarried to Medicinereunion.

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that the season 10 special will feature a reunion between cast memberPhaedra Parksand her ex-husbandApollo Nida.

Parks' costarsDr. Jackie Walters,Dr. Simone Whitmore,Toya Bush-Harris,Dr. Heavenly Kimes,Quad Webb,Lateasha LuncefordandDr. Alicia Egolumwere all kept in the dark about Nida’s appearance, and were shocked when he showed up at the taping in January in New York City, a source tells PEOPLE.

The audience won’t get to see what went down until March 3 when the multi-partMarried to Medicinereunion kicks off — though a reunion teaser will likely drop before the season 10 finale on Feb. 25. But Nida hasn’t appeared on this season at all — something that becomes a topic of conversation on an episode of the show recently when heskipped his son Ayden’s 13th birthday party.

In fact, theMarried to Medicinereunion will mark the first time Parks and Nida have appeared on screen together since season 7 ofThe Real Housewives of Atlanta.

While they left there on bad terms, a source tells PEOPLE that Nida showed up to filming this time around to support Parks and to discuss their life post-divorce, including their cordial co-parenting bond (Parks and Nida are also parents to son Dylan, 10).

Parks, 50, and Nida, 45, married in 2009 and were introduced to Bravo audiences in season 3 ofRHOA, when she joined the cast as a Housewife. Cameras followed the seemingly inseparable pair as they welcomed both children and he supported her many business dealings.

But in 2014, Nida pled guilty to a conspiracy to commitmail fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud and identity theft. He was ordered to pay $1.9 million in restitution and began serving aneight-year prison sentence. (It was his second, having previously been incarcerated from 2003 to 2009 for car theft charges.)

Since then, Parks has dated casually, but she’s mostly kept her romances away from the private eye.

Parks, during a visit toWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohenearlier this month, revealed that she hasn’t gotten to know the new Mrs. Nida. “I’ve definitely seen her,” Parks said. “We don’t really chat, but I’ve seen her.”

She may have seen her on season 9 ofRHOA, when Almufti made an appearance at the soft opening ofKandi Burruss’s popular Atlanta restaurantOld Lady Gang. Though they never crossed paths on camera, Nida’s then-fiancée showed up for filming to send his best wishes.

As for her relationship with Nida, she’s mostly held her tongue, even after Nida’sseason 14RHOAappearancewhen he claimed Parks had left him stranded amid his legal troubles.

“When my ex left me, she left me to basically die,” he toldShereé Whitfield. “Phaedra left me to basically rot. When it first happened, she wasn’t there. My sentencing, she wasn’t there. My self-surrendering, she wasn’t there. Basically not allowing me to see my children. There were a lot of things that showed me that she wasn’t there for me.”

That’s all seemingly in the past now.

“Co-parenting is going great,” Parks said onWWHLearlier this month, noting that the kids are “most definitely” with her full-time, but that her ex “does take for weekends.”

“He likes to take them,” she said.
