Kevin Costneris getting some puppy love for Valentine’s Day.
TheYellowstonestar, 69,announced on Instagramthat he recently got a new puppy, sharing a trio of sweet photos showing the two bonding.
The carousel of photos includes a shot of the actor looking down lovingly at the puppy as he leans against the driver’s side of a large black truck. The puppy is shown running out of frame. In a second shot, Costner cuddles the puppy in his arms while looking at the camera. The pup also appears content, closing his eyes while being embraced.
The final shot shows the puppy lying on the floor with a black bone tag around his neck. The new celebrity pet has white fur with a dark snout.
“Newest addition to the family,” Costner captioned the photos. “I’m already in love with this special guy.”
The Bodyguardactor celebrated his69th birthday two weeks ago, sharing a throwback photo from his debut film, 1981’sMalibu Hot Summer,to mark the big day.

“Celebrating another year of life today and taking a moment to honor this kid who had big dreams. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come,” Costner wrote in a caption to the post. “Thank you all for the birthday wishes. It’s because of your support that I’ve been able to chase my dreams all these years.”
The past year has brought several changes to the actor’s life. In April, he announced his decision todepart the hit Paramount Network showYellowstoneafter 5 seasons, revealing later that it was due to the show’s decision to split season 5 into two parts and failed monetary negotiations.

Christine Baumgartner also filed for divorce from the actor in May after 18 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” After a legal battle, the former couplesettled their divorcein September. Baumgartner has since started datingfinancier Josh Connor.
