Jason Kelce’s time in the NFL may be over, but his unwavering loyalty to the Philadelphia Eagles shines on through his style choices.
Back in February, Jasonrevealed on theGreen Light with Chris Longpodcastthe watch was a special team commission following the Eagles' Super Bowl win in 2018. According to theWrist Aficionadowebsite, the watch has a resale value of $51,900.00.
“Super Bowl rings aren’t fun to wear. First of all, you feel kind of like a douche, a little bit, I feel like, when you’re wearing it. It feels like you’re like, ‘Oh, look at me! I won a Super Bowl!'” he said on the podcast.
He added, “And they’re also really big and clunky. Like, it’s already giving me a blister on my finger. They’re not comfortable. So we all decided — along with a couple other guys on the team — let’s just have Rolexes made commemorating the Super Bowl.”
During the episode Long also joked about how Jason is the only guy who can pull off a Rolex with flip flops, which have become a signature part of his style.
At the press conference,Travis Kelcewas seen wiping away tears as his brother emotionallyannounced his retirement.
Travis, 34, was in the front row alongside their parents,Donna and Ed Kelce, as well as Jason’s wife,Kylie Kelceas Jason delivered a heartfelt address to say that he was ending his NFL career.

Jason spoke about the relationship with his brother, mentioning their years playing sports together as kids and the joy they both felt when the other was drafted into the NFL. “We have a small family. No cousins, one aunt, one uncle. It was really my brother and I our whole lives,” Jason explained. “We did almost everything together — competed, fought, laughed, cried and learned from each other.”
He recalled “inventing games” with Travis, and said they “imagined” themselves as “star players” in the NFL one day. “We won countless Super Bowls in our minds before ever leaving the house,” Jason said.
Of Travis’s support throughout the years, Jason said, “It made me stronger, tougher, smarter, and taught me the values of cooperation, loyalty, patience and understanding.”
