The fitness instructor, 65, confirmed that she would be celebrating with the couple at Thursday’s liveThe Golden Weddingbroadcast following her recenthospitalization.
“Hey guys, happy new year! I just want to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all your kind and encouraging words while I was in the hospital and then when I got home and now I’m definitely on the mend,” she shared on her Instagram Story Wednesday.
She added, “I’m feeling so much better that now I get to go to the wedding, and I can’t wait to support Gerry and Teresa in their beautiful day, and I know it’s going to be really really amazing. Bye!”

On Sunday, Fhima revealed she had been hospitalized on Dec. 28 — her 65th birthday — to undergo a “random” surgery.
“Hey everybody! I know that everyone was just curious to know what I did on my 65th birthday. I spent it in the hospital. Yes, I had a bowel blockage, severe cramping, came into the ER,” she explained in a since-expired Instagram Story post, according tomultiple outlets.

Fhima explained that it was “just something so random. Actually, scar tissue from an appendectomy I had when I was 18 years old.” She then warned fans, “If you have severe stomach issues, don’t wait 12 hours to go to the hospital like I did.”
Fhima assured her supporters that everything would be fine and that she was “very excited” to return home to her dog.
News of the Minnesota native’s attendance comes after Nist, 70, shared onBachelor Happy Hourlast month that she would extend a wedding invite to “every single one” of the other women from her season.
“I would invite Leslie,” Nist said. “I don’t know if she would come.”
