Some pretty major storylines are coming to a head in DC Comics ’ series this summer — and so to typeset the stage , DC has released DC Nation , a collection of tarradiddle being offered complimentary digitally ( or for a one-fourth or less in amusing book memory ) that give some trace at interesting and troubled times beforehand for the world ’s fine .
The fresh comedian is broken down into three tales : “ Your with child Day ” by Tom King , Clay Mann , Jordie Bellaire , and Clayton Cowles ; “ Office place ” by Brian Michael Bendis , José Luis García - López , Dexter Vines , Alex Sinclair , and Josh Reed ; and “ No Justice Prelude ” by Scott Snyder , James Tynion IV , Joshua Williamson , Jorge Jiminez , Alejandro Sanchez , and AndWorld Design . DC Nation offers some challenging pull being thrown into the lives of Superman and Batman before show that thing are about to get a blaze of a mess worse for , well , the entire universe . Here ’s a few of the fully grown item .
The Joker’s Invited to Batman’s Wedding… Kinda
“ Your Big solar day ” is perhaps the lowly of DC Nation ’s offer , in terms of scale of measurement — it ’s just about the Joker terrorizing a poor man key Roger while he await , in Roger ’s house , for the mail to arrive . What Joker ’s waiting for , as the tense skirmish reveals , is an prescribed invite toBatman and Catwoman ’s large 24-hour interval .
It never actually come , but he ’s the Joker , so , like hell he would ’ve passed on showing up to Bat ’s heavy Clarence Day anyway . So he pretends that an invite has come , get Roger , who ends up being shot by the Joker as the clown prince of crime makes off to project for his next grand act : gate - barge in the biggest wedding of the year .
The Daily Planet Has a Dangerous New Hire…
“ Office Space , ” meanwhile , introduces a new face to the Daily Planet team : Robinson Goode , a whiz reporter that Perry White is hoping can shake off up a news squad in disarray . But while Robinson is eager to get to love her new coworkers ( peculiarly Clark , who she almost catches making a overhasty exit from the rooftop as Superman ) , it turn out that she ’s begin big design , and is working with a mystical benefactor to bring the Planet under her ascendance .
Something’s Happened to Lois Lane
But why does Perry so urgently need a new beat reporter ? For the same reason that Clark ’s become a distrait mess at work : Lois Lane is seemingly missing .
She no longer works at the Daily Planet , hence Goode ’s hiring , but the taradiddle lay down some intriguing hints that things are n’t the right way beyond Lois getting a young job . There ’s no acknowledgment , for object lesson , that Lois and Clark are husband and wife , and there ’s no mention of Jon , their son . The story also makes it clear that Perry is obfuscating the reasons behind Lois ’ absence for Clark ’s sake — and his work at the newspaper has been dissemble by whatever ’s depart on with Lois — rather than because he seemingly have it off where she is . Either way , whatever ’s pass off to Lois is move to be a bit of a mystery story break down ahead .
Given that Bendis has also teasedsome fairly tough foescoming for Superman in the skinny future , it looks like the Man of Steel is in for a netherworld of a time .

The Justice League Is Much, Much Bigger…
DC has already disclose that the Justice League is gettinga immense , eldritch expansionafter the fallout of Dark Nights : Metal . The League is now carve up up , as four interconnected team :
Team Entropy : Batman , Lobo , Beast Boy , Lex Luthor , and Deathstroke
Team Mystery : Superman , Martian Manhunter , Starfire , Starro , and Sinestro ( and we know that at some pointDarkseid himself will slot in here )

Team Wonder : Wonder Woman ( duh ) , Dr. Fate , Zatanna , Etrigan , and Raven
Team Wisdom : Cyborg , Harley Quinn , the Flash , Atom , and Damian Wayne
We finally get to see these peculiar uneasy allies in action in the “ No Justice ” prelude , racing to the planet Colu — the homeworld of Brainiac himself — to protect it from a cosmic Modern scourge . But we also get to know why the League has been storm to radically broaden its purview … and it ’s not for good reasons .

… Because All of Reality is At Stake
It turns out , the DC Multiverse is kind of demote thanks to the League ’s effect on the Source Wall — the cosmic social system mark the genuine bound of the multiverse itself — during Dark Nights Metal . The damaged wall is let all sorts of incomprehensibly powerful cosmic entities called Omega Titans into the universe , beingness which are intent on carving a path of demolition throughout all of existence . The only fashion to fight them is to unify in those four random teams , which are mean to body forth the four essential cosmic energy seed of the creation . Also , yes , the four author of get-up-and-go for all things are apparently Mystery , Wonder , Wisdom , and Entropy , so just roll with it .
The Leagues are fighting on Colu because , as a satellite at the very border of the universe , it ’s the most under threat from the Omega Titans . But it deform out that the Titans have unlike plans in mind , as Supergirl discovers in the net pages of the issue : They ’re already at Earth , and there are no Leagues there to defend it . Oh dear .
It seems like the next few months are go to be crude for DC ’s bad heroes , in ways big and little . But if DC Nation is anything to go by , there ’s a few more intriguing mysteries to be reveal in the lives of Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent just yet .
