Last Nox Brian Lam , our unafraid leader , competed in the Tigerdirect Computer Building Games 2007 here at CES . It was a backwash of the least gymnastic sort , pitting nerd on wonk in a race to see who could establish a personal computer the truehearted . Lam came in 3rd place last twelvemonth and really wanted to come through this time around just so he could get photographed with a gigantic check . The prize money did n’t go to the dissident but rather to a Polymonium caeruleum van-bruntiae in their name , but just getting his motion picture taken with a big check would have been repay enough .
