Ashley IaconettiandJared Haibon’s family is growing!
“We want Dawson to have a sibling,” Haibon says of son, who turns 2 this month. “That’s very important. Both of us come from families with two kids. So we wanted to give that to Dawson.”
“I want that big family dynamic, but man, having so many kids is just so overwhelming,” he continues. “So even the idea of a second kid, it’s no longer two-on-one where we can play defense against him. Now it’s just one-on-one.”

Although their son is still a little too young to understand what’s going on, the couple says they brought him along for their first doctor’s appointment, where they got to see a sonogram.
“So he is already getting jealous,” Haibon confirms.
“Amazon is just a freaking lifesaver,” Haibon shares. “I mean, we’re very lucky that we live in a time where we can get something literally a day or two after we order it.”
“And for me, it’s always cheaper than going to the grocery store and getting diapers,” Iaconetti adds.
For both Iaconetti and Haibon, the most important thing on their list is the SNOO.
“I got to say, we did not have a challenging newborn phase. And I think a lot of it has to do with the SNOO,” the expectant mom says. “Not only does Amazon have the SNOO, they also have the SNOO sacks, which is a must.”
As for how she’s feeling, Iaconetti reveals her pregnancy has “been a lot easier than the other one.”
“I had hyperemesis gravidarum last time, so that meant that basically I threw up almost every, well, I threw up multiple times a day up to about 30 weeks. And the first 16 to 18 weeks were just absolutely debilitating.”
“So I’m just so freaking grateful that I’m not experiencing that,” she shares, though she admits “I haven’t been great. I don’t like the feeling of being pregnant. I never want to feel this again. Just don’t like it.”
“I had such gender disappointment with Dawson,” she said of her son, noting she “had a feeling” that she wasn’t pregnant with a girl.
Later in the podcast, Iaconetti discussed the possibility of having another son in the future, sharing that she “doesn’t care so much” about gender anymore. “I’d be happy if we had a boy too because then I’d want them to have that, hopefully, brother bond.”
