In our story with Ariel in season 3 , we saw that it occurred with a faux - Ursula in the form of the Evil Queen . But we introduced the Ursula mythology . KITSIS : We ’ve always said evil is not bear , it ’s made . One of the things we ’re so aroused about with these three villains is show up their origin tale . We ’ve never see the origin stories with Maleficent , Ursula or Cruella , so we ’re aroused about that .
