The world of Michael Sexton ’s webcomicEverblueis a single , immense sea dotted with human city . Luna , a talented ship builder , has spend her entire life sentence in Rose City , though she dream of a life at sea . Then Ten , a drifter with a fly boat , doss into her life , changing her fate — and possibly the fate of Everblue — forever .
Rose City is a spot of many principle : Do n’t sing the strain forbidden by the imperial laws . Do n’t plunk into the city Congress of Racial Equality and instruct its mystical secrets . Luna is n’t terribly good at following these convention , however . That may be why she mostly maintain to herself , mending boats and just speak to anyone but her adoptive brother , Seta . The hoi polloi who worry for her often note her staring out at the ocean with an expression of longing .
Then Ten arrives in Rose City , his freshly break vanish ship in tow . Ten is quick , adventurous , and not well discouraged . He also carries with him one of the groovy artefact of Everblue ’s legendary past times , something that could go him to a place where the ocean finally stops .

Although the patch has some undefined similarity to Waterworld , the setting and tonus are altogether unlike . Rather than portray a post - apocalyptical creation , Everblue gives us a lovely fancy earthly concern that happens to sit on the piss . The island cities are connect under a single kingdom , and there are those within the politics who see Luna as a dangerous catalyst of change .
Sexton intermix the serenity of sprightliness on the ocean with energetic natural action chronological sequence that call to beware the animated cartoon that clearly revolutionise the comic . With the Royal Navy red-hot on their heels and last himself lurking on the candid sea , it ’s clear that Luna and Ten have some fantastic , mystical adventures forward of them .
